Our Story

I discovered points and miles in 2021, like many of us, during some quarantine-fueled social media scrolling. It quickly became apparent that I'd found a new obsession. After a year of researching and collecting points, I used 135,000 Chase points transferred to Hyatt to book a 3-night stay at Alila Ventana Big Sur, in July, no less! A stay that would have otherwise cost more than $9000. My wife and I had an incredible time, and that trip sent me even deeper down the rabbit hole.

After helping friends and family open credit cards, earn points, and plan trips with their rewards, I almost started my own consulting business, but it wasn't quite what I wanted to do. So after a lot more reflection and a lot more trips booked with points, I came up with the idea for Travel Rewards Consulting. I wanted to find a way to help bring points and miles to even more people and to give experts another avenue to be compensated for their knowledge.
