I. Introduction
Welcome to Travel Rewards Consulting!
This guide will:
- Show you how to create an account.
- Explain how to search for points and miles consultants and their services.
- Walk you through creating a "Customer Service Request" listing.
- Describe the different types of listings, how they work, and the payment process for each.

II. Definitions
- Provider- A consultant/advisor/expert who provides services on the Travel Rewards Consulting platform.
- Customer- A user looking for services on the Travel Rewards Consulting platform.
- Listing- An entry on the Travel Rewards Consulting platform that represents a service offered by a provider, or a service request posted by a customer.
III. Creating an Account
In order to create a listing, you must first have an account with Travel Rewards Consulting. You can access the signup page here. Or by clicking “Sign Up” on the top bar.
Select “Customer” as the user type.
Complete the required fields (Note: The “Display Name” field is optional, if you choose not to complete this field your display name will automatically be shown as your first name plus the first letter of your last name (e.g. Jane Doe will have the display name "Jane D.").
Review and accept the Terms of Service and Private Policy by clicking the box.
Click Submit
Create an AccountIV. View & Message Consultants
You can view and message consultants by clicking "Featured Consultants" in the top bar. Once you select a consultant preview, you can message them by clicking "Send an inquiry" or view their full profile by scrolling to the bottom and clicking "view profile".
V. Searching for Services
You can access the marketplace search page at any time by clicking "Browse Listings" in the top bar. You must be logged in to perform a search.
Once you are on the search page, you can type your keywords into the search bar to find specific services. You can also filter the available services by service type or further filter your search within a specific listing type. Note: You will also be able to see "Customer Service Request" listings which were created by other customers, however, these are there only for consultants to bid on.
Tip: If your specific search terms do not return any items click "Browse Services" in the top bar to start a fresh search session. This ensures you see the complete inventory and haven't missed a relevant item due to a minor keyword difference.
VI. Creating a Customer Service Request Listing
If you are unable to find what you are looking for, you can post a custom points and miles service request for consultants to view and bid on.
To do so, first log into your account. Then click “Post a new listing” in the top bar.
Use the dropdown menu under “Listing type” and select "Customer Service Request".
Describe your specific need and fill out the relevant details. Consultants will then submit offers for the work. You will have the option to accept, deny, or request changes to any offers before you finalize the booking. Before being posted, the listing will go through an approval process by the Travel Rewards Consulting team.
VII. Listing Types Summary
The current options for listing type are:

Chat with a Consultant- This allows for free messaging with consultants. This can be used to ask clarifying questions about a consultant's services and ensure they are a good fit. The "Award Search” and "Points Strategy" listing types also allow for messaging while the transaction is being discussed and finalized.
Pricing- Free

Points Strategy- These services vary by consultant and cover a wide range of points strategy methods to help you earn, optimize, and use your points. To initiate a transaction you will be prompted to complete an intake form with relevant information to allow the consultant to provide a personalized plan for you.
Pricing- A customer selects an offering, requests a quote, and completes the intake form. The service is not initiated until you accept the quote or request modifications to the quote. This step ensures mutual understanding of the service scope, deliverables, timing, price and any other important factors. Once the service and deliverable(s) are completed, you mark it as “received” at which point the consultant receives the payment.

Award Search- These services vary by consultant and involve performing specialized points and miles searches to identify award availability. Consultants may include support for the subsequent booking process as well. To initiate a transaction you will be prompted to complete an intake form with relevant information to allow the consultant to perform a personalized points availability search for you.
Pricing- A customer selects an offering, requests a quote, and completes the intake form. The service is not initiated until you accept or request modifications to the quote. This step ensures mutual understanding of the service scope, deliverables, timing, price and any other important factors. Once the service and deliverable(s) are completed, you mark it as “received” at which point the consultant receives the payment. Consultants may choose to charge a non-refundable search fee.

Customer Service Request- This listing type allows you to post unique service requests for providers to bid on if you cannot find what you are looking for in our available services. You describe your specific need, and consultants submit offers for the work. You will have the option to accept, deny, or request changes to any offers before you finalize the booking.
Pricing- There is no pre-set price, however, an expected price range must be included in the listing. You will create a listing describing your specific need and relevant details. Consultants then review these requests and submit offers with their proposed price and deliverables. You can then accept an offer and pay, request modifications, or reject it. This step helps both parties clarify the service scope, deliverables, timing, price, and any other important factors. Once the service and deliverable(s) are completed, you mark it as “received” at which point the consultant receives the payment.
VIII. Keeping Transactions On-Platform
To protect both you and the consultants and ensure a seamless service experience, our Terms of Service strictly require that all transactions take place on the Travel Rewards Consulting platform.
Why This Matters
The small fee collected on transactions funds the platform's operation, provides necessary payment processing and client support, and allows us to continuously invest in new features that benefit you.
Warning: Encouraging or attempting to move any transaction off the platform is a violation of the Terms of Service and may result in the closure of your account. We are dedicated to providing a fully secure payment environment for our customers, and we can only guarantee that security when all transactions remain on the platform.
IX. Payments

Stripe- Travel Rewards Consulting utilizes Stripe to process payments and to hold funds. Customers do not need a Stripe account to utilize the service and make payments.

Travel Rewards Consulting Fees- Nobody likes fees, but they are a crucial investment that allows us to fully support customers and consultants. For this reason, Travel Rewards Consulting charges a 10% fee to consultants and a 5% fee to customers on all completed transactions, all of which is clearly shown on every payment and bid. These fees are not just about operating costs, they are what allow us to provide a secure, verified, and protected environment for every transaction, giving both customers and consultants peace of mind. They also ensure we can continuously invest in new features and tools.
