I had a great experience working with Kib for travel consulting. I’m turning 40 and wanted to plan a trip to Vietnam for myself, my wife, and our two kids. I came to Kib with our dates and all the credit card points I had accumulated, but I wasn’t really sure how to get the most out of them. My guy Kib took the time to look everything over and came up with a plan with like 5 mins that I honestly wouldn’t have thought of myself. Since we’re traveling with young kids, he suggested breaking up the flights instead of doing one long trip. He recommended spending a few days in Japan on the way to Vietnam, which made the travel easier on the kids but also ended up being a more affordable way to get to Vietnam since we were already going to be in Asia. For the return trip, the cheapest option was a 6-hour flight to Abu Dhabi, followed by an 8-hour layover and then a 12-hour flight back to Boston. With two little kids, that would have been a lot. Instead, we decided to stay in Abu Dhabi for a day or two and turn the long layover into another part of the trip. Kib has personally been to Abu Dhabi five times, so he was also able to give us some great suggestions for things to do while we’re there. He was able to help us book all of the flights using points by transferring them to certain airlines while keeping our out of pocket taxes low. I’ll be scheduling another call with Kib again in a couple of months once I accumulate more points, and we’ll tackle the hotels next. Overall, a great experience. Kib was knowledgeable, patient, and really took our family’s needs into consideration rather than just trying to find the cheapest flights. Def recommend him to anyone who wants to get more value out of their credit card points and needs help planning a trip.
